Madden 18 Unveils “Romo Mode” Where Dak Gets Sacked On Every Play
The creators of Madden 18 rolled out several exciting new features of their upcoming video game, including “Romo Mode,” in which everything about the gameplay is normal, except that if you play as the Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott gets sacked on every single play.
A spokesperson for EA Sports confirmed several times that the idea for “Romo Mode” arose out of an internal brainstorm, and not, as has been rumored, because of an unmarked briefcase filled with $10 million that was delivered to the EA offices by a man who was clearly Tony Romo in a wig and glasses.
Madden 18 will also feature “Collins Mode,” in which Jamie Collins never got shipped off to the Browns for acting pissy about his contract, and is just staring lovingly at his Patriots Super Bowl ring.
“This is incredible!” wrote beta tester Tommy Rono in his official report. “Haha he can’t even hand it off to Zeke without getting smashed. I’m gonna play this game every day for the rest of my life.”
