  5. There is no locking into only linebackers, defensive line, or secondary

  2. Brings in the offensive playbook and calls every play on Offense
  3. When on Offense, you control the QB at the start of every play

The best thing about these roles is that none of the three are
completely undesirable. You still have choices about the position you will control, but there is no doubt, the largest percentage of gamers will want to be the Offensive Captain.

This setup is ingenious because it essentially gives each team an offensive and defensive coordinator and a head coach, just like a real NFL team. The Ultimate Team structure adds another layer. The strength of ones Ultimate Team could also play a part in the role designation.
